The idea was to create a utilitarian package design that would allow consumers to purchase only the knives they needed or felt comfortable using instead of purchasing an expensive knife block set. Each block is custom-made to fit the knife blade and formatted to match the other pieces of the block to ensure a proper fit. The magnets hold the blocks together or can be used separately to attach to a fridge or metal shelving unit. The end result is a universal knife block.
